What Is a 120 Day Calculator?

A 120 day calculator finds the calendar date that falls exactly 120 days after any start date you choose. It is useful for tracking gestation periods, project milestones, trial periods, visa timelines, seasonal changes, or counting down to an event. The default is 120 days, but you can change the day count to any number.

How to Use It

1. Enter your start date (defaults to today).
2. Set the number of days to add (default 120).
3. Optionally check Include start date if day 1 should be the start date itself.

By default, counting begins the day after the start date. With "include start date" checked, the start date counts as day 1 and the result shifts one day earlier.

Example

Starting March 31, 2023 and counting 120 days backward (not including the end date) lands on December 1, 2022. This pattern is common when estimating gestation periods for mammals such as armadillos, where delivery date minus 120 days gives the approximate conception date.

Starting April 14 and adding 120 days forward gives August 12, accounting for varying month lengths and leap years automatically.
