SQL Select Builder
Compose SELECT statements with column lists, WHERE filters, ORDER BY, and LIMIT without writing SQL by hand.
Compose SELECT statements without typos
Exploratory SQL, documentation snippets, and ORM debugging all start with a readable
SELECT. This builder turns a table name, column list, optional predicates, sort column,
and limit into a formatted MySQL-style query with backtick-quoted identifiers and safely quoted
string literals.
WHERE line format
Enter one predicate per line using column operator value, for example
status = active or price >= 10. Supported operators include
=, !=, <>, comparisons, LIKE, and
IN (a, b, c). Multiple lines are combined with AND.
For INSERT/CREATE workflows from data files, use the CSV to SQL Converter or JSON to SQL Converter. For mutations, pair with the SQL UPDATE Builder.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which SQL dialect is generated?
Syntax targets common MySQL/MariaDB habits (backtick identifiers). Most clauses work in other engines after minor identifier quoting changes.
Can I select all columns?
Leave the column list empty or type * to emit SELECT *.
Are queries executed here?
No. The tool only formats text locally in your browser; connect to your database separately to run the statement.
