How to Count Weeks Between Dates
Counting weeks between two dates is straightforward. Follow these simple steps:
- Count the total number of days between the two dates.
- Divide the number of days by 7 (since there are 7 days in a week).
- The quotient is the number of full weeks, and the remainder is the extra days.

How Many Weeks in a Year?
A standard year has 365 days, which equals 52 weeks plus 1 extra day (365 ÷ 7 = 52.14). A leap year has 366 days, which equals 52 weeks plus 2 extra days.
