What Is the Aldrete Score?
The Modified Aldrete Score assesses recovery from anesthesia in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). It evaluates consciousness, mobility, breathing, circulation, and skin color. Scoring Criteria
Each of the five criteria is scored 0, 1, or 2. The maximum total is 10. Patients scoring 9 or 10 are typically considered ready for PACU discharge.
