AFT Calculator
Score the new US Army Fitness Test events and check pass thresholds for general and combat standards.
What Is the Army Fitness Test (AFT)?
The US Army Fitness Test replaced the ACFT in June 2025. It scores five events: 3RM deadlift, hand-release push-ups (2 minutes), sprint-drag-carry, plank, and two-mile run. There is no standing power throw or leg tuck. Compare with the legacy ACFT Calculator.
Passing Standards
Each event requires at least 60 points. The total pass threshold is 300 for general standards and 350 for combat arms. You must pass every event and meet the total score.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is AFT scoring different from ACFT?
The AFT removes the standing power throw and leg tuck. It uses five events with a 60-point minimum per event.
What is the combat arms pass score?
Combat arms soldiers need at least 350 total points with 60 or more on each event.
How do I enter run and plank times?
Use minutes and seconds, for example 16:30 for a 16-minute 30-second two-mile run.
Does age or sex change AFT scoring?
This calculator uses the commonly cited gender-neutral breakpoint scale. Confirm current Army policy for your unit.
Can I use metric units?
Yes. Select metric and enter deadlift in kilograms. Times stay in mm:ss format.
