SSL Checker

Check HTTPS reachability, response time, and security headers for any domain from your browser.

O M T

Quick HTTPS connectivity checks

TLS certificates encrypt traffic between browsers and servers. This checker loads your domain over HTTPS, reports whether the host responds, measures response time, and lists security headers when the browser allows access. Full certificate chain inspection requires server-side tools such as OpenSSL because of browser CORS rules.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can I not see the certificate issuer or expiry?

Browsers block JavaScript from reading certificate details for arbitrary domains. This tool confirms HTTPS reachability and visible response headers instead.

What does CORS limited mean?

When a site does not send CORS headers, the browser still completes the request but hides status codes and headers from scripts. A successful opaque response usually means HTTPS is reachable.

Which security headers matter?

Strict-Transport-Security enforces HTTPS. Content-Security-Policy reduces XSS risk. X-Frame-Options and X-Content-Type-Options add clickjacking and MIME sniffing protections.

Do you store the domains I check?

No. Checks run from your browser directly to the target host.
