Poker Odds Calculator
Compute poker pot odds, required equity, and whether a call is profitable based on pot size and bet to call.
What Are Pot Odds in Poker?
Pot odds compare the size of the pot to the amount you must call. They tell you the minimum equity (win probability) needed to break even on a call. If your actual equity exceeds the required equity, calling is profitable.
Pot Odds and Required Equity
$$\text{Required equity} = \frac{\text{call}}{\text{pot} + \text{call}} \times 100\%$$Example: pot is $80, you must call $20. Total pot after calling is $100. Required equity = \(20 / 100 = 20\%\). If you believe you win more than 20% of the time, calling is +EV.
