GitHub Actions Workflow Generator

Build ready-to-commit GitHub Actions workflows for Node.js CI, Python tests, Vercel deploy, and scheduled cron jobs.

Generate GitHub Actions workflow YAML

GitHub Actions runs CI/CD from YAML files in .github/workflows/. This generator builds ready-to-commit workflows for common setups: a Node.js test matrix, Python pytest runs, Vercel production deploys, and UTC cron schedules. Edit branch names, Node versions, and steps, then copy the YAML locally. No GitHub token is required to preview workflows.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose a template that matches your stack.
  2. Fill in branch, runtime versions, and optional lint/build flags.
  3. Copy or download the YAML into .github/workflows/your-file.yml in your repository.
  4. Add required secrets (for example VERCEL_TOKEN) in GitHub repository settings.

Pair this with the Crontab Generator when designing cron expressions, and the Dockerfile Generator for container build steps.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do generated workflows run automatically?

GitHub picks up workflow files after you commit them to the default or configured branch. This page only generates text; it does not connect to your GitHub account.

Which secrets does the Vercel template expect?

It references VERCEL_TOKEN plus organization and project IDs stored as secrets. Replace placeholder secret names if your team uses different labels.

Can I edit the YAML after generation?

Yes. Treat the output as a starting point. Add caching, artifacts, environments, or job dependencies as your pipeline matures.
