Beer Pong Calculator
Plan beer pong tournaments with beer totals, tournament duration, cost per player, and estimated blood alcohol content.
Beer Pong Tournament Planning
Running a beer pong bracket means guessing beer, time, and cost ahead of time. This calculator totals beers from teams, games, and beers per team, then estimates cup fill, tournament length, and spend per player. For food at the same party, try the BBQ Party Calculator.
What Gets Calculated
Total beer equals teams × games × beers per team per game. Cup volume assumes standard 12 fl oz beers split across cups. Duration divides total game minutes by available tables. BAC uses a simplified Widmark estimate for a player who reaches about half the scheduled games.
Example
Eight teams, seven games, 2.5 beers per team per game, and $8 beer price yields 140 beers and $1,120 total ($70 per player with two players per team).
Frequently Asked Questions
How many beers per cup should I pour?
Divide beers per team by cups per team, then multiply by 12 fl oz. Ten cups with 2.5 beers means about 3 fl oz per cup.
Is the BAC estimate exact?
No. It is a rough planning number. Actual intake depends on aiming skill, reracks, and drinks between games.
Why divide tournament time by table count?
Multiple tables run games in parallel, so total wall-clock time drops when you add tables.
Can I change cup count from the default ten?
Yes. Six-cup games are common in house rules, and the calculator adjusts beer per cup automatically.
