Timestamp Batch Converter

Convert many Unix epoch timestamps to ISO dates or dates back to epoch in one paste, with per-line errors.

O M T

Convert many Unix timestamps at once

Log exports, analytics dumps, and webhook payloads often mix hundreds of epoch values. Paste one timestamp or date per line and decode to ISO-8601 UTC (or local strings) or encode human-readable dates back to Unix seconds. The tool auto-detects second, millisecond, and microsecond epochs by digit length and flags bad lines without stopping the batch.

When to use batch mode

  • SIEM / audit logs, turn 1697635200 columns into readable incident timelines.
  • API QA, verify JWT exp claims or webhook created fields in bulk.
  • Data cleanup, convert spreadsheet date strings to epoch before loading a warehouse.

For single-value conversion with time zones, see Convert Human Time to Unix Time. For nanosecond precision, use Unix Nanoseconds Converter.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are milliseconds detected?

Pure numeric lines with 13–15 digits are treated as milliseconds (or microseconds at 16+ digits) before formatting. Shorter values are assumed to be seconds since the Unix epoch.

Which date formats work for encoding?

Any string JavaScript Date.parse accepts, including ISO-8601 (2024-10-18T13:00:00Z) and RFC 2822 style headers.

Is data sent to a server?

No. All parsing runs in your browser; paste sensitive logs without uploading them.
