Facebook Bold Text
Convert text to Unicode bold styles for social posts.
What is Facebook bold text?
Many platforms do not offer real bold inside plain status fields. Unicode “mathematical” letters look bold but are actually different code points. This generator maps A–Z and a–z into serif bold, sans bold, and bold italic variants you can paste into posts, bios, or comments where those characters render.
How to use it
Type or paste your phrase, then copy one of the four styled outputs. Only basic Latin letters change; numbers, punctuation, emoji, and other scripts stay as you typed them.
Limits
- Some apps strip or substitute uncommon Unicode; preview before publishing.
- Screen readers may spell out mathematical letters differently from normal letters.
- This is decorative text, not semantic HTML bold.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this work in Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp?
It depends on the client. Try pasting a short sample; if characters show as boxes, that channel may not support these code points.
Is this the same as pressing Bold in an editor?
No. Real bold uses styling; here you are copying different Unicode characters that merely look thicker.
Can I bold numbers?
This tool leaves digits unchanged. Unicode has separate digit blocks, but they are not included here to keep output predictable.
Do you store what I type?
No. Conversion runs in your browser only.
